The Prominent DULCOFlex Peristaltic hose pumps have been selected as they are the most ideal pump for your application.

This is due to the following:

Seal-less pump design, whereby the pump hose & connection inserts are the only components that makes contact with the fluid
Good chemical compatibility between the hose & inserts with the solution
Accurately and reliably pump high viscosity & S.G. media
Gentle, low shear pumping action
+/- 2% Accuracy & +/- 0.5% Repeatability
Ability to pass solids & un-dissolved particles
Ability to be run dry without causing damage to the pump

The Prominent DULCOFlex range of peristaltic hose pumps covers both roller & pressing shoe designs. For your application we have elected to offer rollers. While this limits the discharge pressure to 8 bar it has the following major benefits:

Internal bearing box to avoid excess loading on the geared reducer – DFCa series only
Shimming for accurate hose compression for the discharge pressure required
Ability to operate at less than 1 rpm
Lower power consumption
Lower start & running torque
No lubricant required inside pump casing
Smoother pressing between the hose & rollers, which limits grinding wear to the hose

The Prominent DULCOFlex range of peristaltic hose pumps covers both roller & pressing shoe designs. Due to the flow & discharge pressure required we have elected to offer a pressing shoe pump.
This unit has the following major benefits:

Continuous operation at up to 15 bar discharge pressure
Internal bearing box to avoid excess loading on the geared reducer
Shimming for accurate hose compression to the discharge pressure required
Slow running speed of the pump to maximise hose life
High set vertical breather
Reusable hose clamping ring in place of conventional hose clamps
